SAINT Croix County SKYWARN
What is Skywarn?
Skywarn is a national program of volunteer weather observers for the National Weather Service (NWS). There are no age or experience requirements, just come to a class and get trained!
Skywarn is not restricted to just Amateur Radio (ham) operators! All are welcome!
Skywarn training for 2024 has concluded in St. Croix County.
Stay tuned in early 2025 for our training schedule next spring!
Come join us for one of our 3-hour training sessions offered in the spring of each year, and start making reports to the National Weather Service! Reports may be made via amateur radio, telephone, or the reporting form on the National Weather Service's website!
You are required to take training every two years to maintain your spotter status, however we encourage attending training every year as there is always something new to learn!
